The Great Apes – the most visceral, soul-shaking rock show around at the moment. A brief outline of their sound:
“The music is sexy, violent, and above all primal. It…’s dark and you can dance to it. The songs move through heady moods all vividly coloured by the unique Ape’s sound: growling guitars and powerful rhythms. There are songs of apocalypse and sex. Some songs speak of dark shamanic visions and dreams, others of astral flight, and some of the sheer energy and necessity of youth and dance.”
Bilderberg Motel – a 6 piece act blending 60′s revival, punk, country-blues and psychedelic rock into a unique mix they call Americana. Dark and danceable, some snide and some sweetness.
Beast – a brand new, very unique act bringing the ethereal talent of Inge Beckmann (LARK) together with Riaan and Louis (Taxi Violence) and Sacha (The Plastics). Two bass guitars, massive drums and violent vocals build an explosive sound that’ll hit you in the chest, crawl up your spine and melt your face off.
